Carolyn Sievert
Trainer
Carolyn started Tae Kwon Do when she was about 11 and never looked back. She has always been athletic with a fighting edge, the problem was that when she was young that aggression would be directed on other kids. Once Carolyn started martial arts all that physical aggression toward her peers changed. She became more confident, relaxed, and most of all in control of her body and mind. The joy Carolyn gets from participating and sharing her knowledge of martial arts with others has become her life-long goal. Carolyn is always searching for new challenges and opportunities to educate, inspire and motivate others, while also learning from them. Her Martial Arts flavor will add spice to The Bootcamp Express Classes.
Carolyn Sievert comes with an impressive resume:
• 1995 BFA Graduate from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee with a minor in biology
• International Master Instructor degree in Tae Kwon Do from Kukkiwon (international Korean Tae Kwon Do Center)
• International Judo Black Belt certification from the Korean Judo Association
• 2010 National Academy of Sports Medicine personal training certification
• Over 15 years of martial art teaching (kids, adults and groups)
• 3 years of Tae Kwon Do Nationals competitions as state team champion and twice competing in World Tae Kwon Do tournament in Korea
• And, she dabbles in metalsmithing, running and going to fitness spas!
Adam Crohn
Trainer
Adam has been faithfully pursuing his health and fitness goals since 1995 when he realized it would not only keep his little brother from outdoing him, but might also give girls a reason to be interested in him outside of beating him up. Adam realizes that maintaining your health is directly related to your lifestyle. He feels that everything comes down to the choices we make, and teaches that if you take care of your heart both body and mind will follow. Adam has a Bachelors degree in Communication from Elmhurst College. He is a NASM CPT, and a Nationally Registered EMT. Adam hopes to one day serve the city he loves on the Chicago Fire Department. For now he is content with traveling through time and killing zombies as a personal trainer in Chicago. www.acfitnesstraining.com
